Some of my own poems

Unchained Dreamers

Dreamers can fly free from chains until no chains remain.
Chains in dreams can be useful though.
One can dream them into ropes of sparkling lightning flies
to free their eyes to see the magic
of the stars that light up the midnight skies.
The eyes of the dreamer
may be truly filled with pleasure,
but they are still quite simply
beyond all measure.

The ghosts in our coffees

The ghosts in our coffees are seen as the ghosts
of past activites coming to present life before
our very eyes.

If our Karmic activites proceed in more enlightened ways
than self created in the days of yore
the ghosts of the past will be no more.

It is all just in the mind.
It is just as easy to replace
stumble and bumble and tumble
and reel and feel and kneel
with finding the beauties of the way
in the night and in the day
and finding we did not really find the way,
but we all along have been the way
and east or west or north or south,
we have finally found ourself.

I would say that reality is like this:

To silence anger
Become love

To silence ill will
Become kind

To silence selfishness
Share your kindness and your love.

And always speak with Kindness, Love
Acceptance and Honesty.

Life is a dance. Dance it well, for

She is a bird in your lawn
and a deer and a deer's fawn
A tree in forest yonder
and thoughts and dreams
that make you think and wonder

A twin ray from far out
in distant California,
The girl from well
everywhere

She can also get into your dreams
and live in Redwood trees
and in the ground in worms
and things

She is simply the all of everything
